Tiffany Trump’s engagement ring reportedly has a big price tag.

The newly engaged daughter of former US president Donald Trump and his second wife Marla Maples was given a ring reportedly worth up to $1.2 million, the Daily Mail reported.

Trump, 27, announced her engagement to 23-year-old boyfriend Michael Boulos on Jan. 19, which was her father’s final full day in office. Boulos, who hails from a wealthy Nigerian family, and Tiffany have been dating for two years. A source told Page Six that Michael proposed to Tiffany in the Rose Garden at the White House over the weekend after they flew in from Miami, where they have been living.

“It has been an honor to celebrate many milestones, historic occasions and create memories with my family here at the White House, none more special than my engagement to my amazing fiancé Michael! Feeling blessed and excited for the next chapter!” Tiffany captioned an Instagram photo of her and her fiance at the White House.

“Got engaged to the love of my life!” the business developer manager posted that same day on his own Instagram page. “Looking forward to our next chapter together.”

Michael was born in Lebanon and grew up in Nigeria.

The ring, shown on the jeweler Samer Halimeh’s Instagram page, has a 13+ carat emerald cut center diamond flanked by two trapeze cut diamonds. Photos showing off the stunning emerald cut engagement ring were taken outside the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C.

“Because love is simply worth it,” the jeweler wrote in a Facebook post about the ring. “Congratulations to the power couple.”

“The ring’s center diamond has a G color grade, meaning it has a faint yellow hue in comparison to stones with higher grades. The highest color grade is a D, though these colorless stones are rare to find,” according to Daily Mail. “The stone also boasts a VVSI clarity grade, which is close to perfect. VVS stands for ‘very, very slightly included.'”

The jeweler reportedly flew to Dubai to help Michael select the diamond engagement ring. Boulos, heir to the multi-billion dollar Nigerian conglomerate Boulos Enterprises, was on vacation in Dubai when the jeweler came to help him choose the ring at his store there. Boulos also most likely paid a high customs duty tax when he brought the ring from Dubai back to the US.

Although a spokesperson for the jewelry designer would not reveal how much Michael paid for the ring, an “independent expert” estimated it’s probably worth $1 million to $1.2 million, Page Six reported.

The couple may settle in the Miami area. Page Six exclusively reported last week that Georgetown Law graduate Tiffany had been searching for property in the area.

Halimeh’s past clients include royals and celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Sir Elton John, and Naomi Campbell. He is one of the world’s leading diamond traders. Tiffany and Michael were spotted browsing engagement rings at the jeweler’s store in London in June 2019. She left the store buying a $663,000 diamond ‘friendship’ bracelet while at the jeweler’s Knightsbridge location.
