Show Off Your Love in a Heart Necklace Like the One Ben Affleck Gave Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez is enjoying her honeymoon in France with new husband Ben Affleck and jewelry fans were quick to notice that during their trip, the singer has been wearing a sentimental necklace the actor gave her last year.

Soon after their surprise Las Vegas wedding two weekends ago on July 16, the new Mr. and Mrs. Affleck, also known as Bennifer, went on a honeymoon in Paris with their respective kids and have been in the City of Love for about a week now. Strolling through the most romantic city in the world seems appropriate for a couple that had its fair share of highs and lows.

Ben and Jennifer first got engaged in late 2002, but called off their engagement in 2004 shortly before they were set to get married, reportedly because of the media circus surrounding their relationship. They both went on to have separate relationships, including marriages and kids, but reunited almost a year ago.

During their recent visit to the Louvre in Paris and then to the Dior maison (probably for a little treat to celebrate Jennifer’s 53rd birthday), the “Marry Me” actress wore a red Reformation dress that she paired with a mixed paperclip chain necklace and a few medallions, including one oversized heart.

Jennifer got the heart pendant necklace exactly a year ago as a gift for her 52nd birthday from Ben. It was also what she wore in the photo when she made their rekindled romance Instagram official last year. The chain link necklace is a major trend right now and making it personalized and/or sentimental with a heart is a beautiful way of showing love for your partner.

The designer behind Jennifer’s heart necklace said the heart in this particular piece of jewelry has multiple meanings. She told Town & Country magazine, “When we talk about love we refer to the 7 types of love, including philia (friendship), eros (romantic), philautia (self), storge (between parents and their children), pragma (responsibility), agape (universal love), and ludus (playful love).”

Ben was previously married to actress Jennifer Garner and they share three children: Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13 and Samuel, 10. Jennifer has two kids from her previous marriage with singer Marc Anthony: twins, Emme and Maximilian, 14.

Jennifer described the details of her wedding with Ben in her newsletter OntheJLo on July 17, 2022. She wrote, “Last night we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world.”

She continued, “We are so grateful to have that in abundance, a new wonderful family of five amazing children and a life that we have never had more reason to look forward to. Stick around long enough and maybe you’ll find the best moment of your life in a drive through in Las Vegas at twelve thirty in the morning in the tunnel of love drive through, with your kids and the one you’ll spend forever with. Love is a great thing, maybe the best of things-and worth waiting for.”
